Born and raised in Central Kitsap, I graduated from Western Washington University in 1977, winning the Outstanding Graduate Award from
the Philosophy Department. I moved back to Kitsap county soon after graduation and began working at Kitsap County Bank in the Fall of 1977.
I began as a Level One Bookkeeper and within a year was promoted to Loan Officer. I took Bookkeeping, Economics and Accounting I, II and III at
Olympic College as well as Financial Management courses through the American Institute of Banking. I also graduated from the Northwest
Intermediate Commercial Lending School in 1985. In 1987 I left the bank and worked for the next 10 years as a full charge bookkeeper for various
businesses, one of which was a jewelry wholesale company on Bainbridge Island, specializing in India and Pakistan. In 1996 I started my own
jewelry import/wholesale company specializing in Mexico, but I continued my bookkeeping practice as a sole proprietor. From 2012 – 2015 I also
worked part time for two Bainbridge accountants. In 2016, I decided to downsize the jewelry company and focus on my bookkeeping service
forming Zero Gravity Bookkeeping, LLC. I work with various accounting specialists, including tax accountants and bookkeeping consultants to
offer a wide range of services. With Zero Gravity Bookkeeping, expect well-experienced, personal service. References happily provided upon
